We invite you to support this purposeful event by becoming a sponsor!
Your support of this event will help provide scholarship funds for birth support for low income and teen moms as well as Women of African American, Native American and Latino heritage who are most at risk during pregnancy and childbirth. You will also be helping aspiring doulas and midwives within our community to receive the training they need.
Come dressed to walk! You can park in the downtown parking garage or in the lot behind Big Spring Park East. This year's event will be on the West Side of Church Street.
Every day, you make a difference in the lives of mothers and babies. Your gentle hands, encouraging words, and expert care help bring new life into the world with dignity and joy.
Share your photos and videos of the beautiful moments you create with mothers during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Help us spread awareness about the value of midwifery and doula support to mothers who may not know these options exist.

The Mom Foundation was founded in 2011 by Glenni Lorick who owned A Nurturing Moment. It was originally established as a 501c3 under the name Moms Nurturing Moms with the purpose of providing breastfeeding support to low income and teen moms.
Over the years the name has changed, and the purpose has evolved to include a variety of types of support. But the mission of service to those who are marginalized by society remains the same. A Nurturing Moment was the headquarters for The Mom Foundation. In 2020 Glenni sold a Nurturing Moment. At that time she moved the headquarters to The Dandelion House, a ministry established by Tiffany Martin to provide refuge and support for women and families. The Mom Foundation Board was reconstituted in 2022 with Board members Amy Castor, Cory Ann France, Glenni Lorick, Daniel Lorick and Will Martin. As we move forward with our various projects, we seek to serve every mother that God brings our way.
